THIS IS THE LAST RAIL OF THE EAST MCMURRAY ROAD PARK, 19 STAIR DOWN. THIS PLACE COULD BE PITTSBURGH'S VERSION OF THE SLC RAIL GARDENS, BUT THE UNFORTUNATE PART IS PITTSBURGH DOES NOT GET A LOT OF SNOW FALL, SO THE OPPORTUNITIES TO RIP AT THIS PARK WILL BE FEW AND SO FAR IN DECEMBER ITS BEEN RAINING MORE THAN SNOWING. HOPEFULLY JANUARY WILL BE BETTER AND THE CONDITIONS WILL COME FOR A SESSION AT THESE RAILS. HAPPY SHREDDIN!

SEVEN SPRINGS PARK CREW
WENT UP TO SPRINGS TODAY AND PEEPED THE NEW URBAN PARK THAT THE PARK CREW IS BUILDING AND IT LOOKS RIDICULOUSLY SICK! UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS 50 DEGREES AND RAINING SO I DIDN'T TAKE ANY PHOTOS, BUT THE WHOLE SETUP HAD A LOT OF WORK PUT INTO IT. THE PARK CREW HAS BEEN WORKING SUPER HARD TO PUT THIS TOGETHER. STAIR SETS, URBAN BARS, URBAN KINKS, WALLRIDES AND IT RESEMBLES THE STREETS, VERY NICE LOOKING STREETS. SPRINGS IS OPENING TOMORROW WITH SOME RUNS AND A PARK, THE WEATHER IS DEFINITELY NOT COOPERATING SO THERE IS A LOT OF WORK TO BE DONE BEFORE MUCH OF THE MOUNTAIN GETS OPEN. HAPPY SHREDDIN!

THIS IS A PART OF THE MCMURRAY ROAD PARK IN SOUTH PITTSBURGH, 15 STAIR DOWN AND 15 STAIR DOWN TO KINK. BOTH HAVE SLOPED RIDE IN'S AND LONG SMOOTH LANDINGS.
RESORTS FINALLY STARTED TO OPEN LAST WEEKEND, PERFECT NORTH SLOPES PROBABLY SET A RECORD FOR BEING THE FIRST RESORT TO OPEN IN THE MIDWEST AND LOWER EAST COAST, CONSIDERING THEIR LOCATED IN SOUTHERN INDIAN NEAR CINCINNATI. BIG BOULDER PARK OPENED ON MONDAY WITH A PARK OPEN, NO DOUBT IT WAS PROBABLY PRETTY SWEET, THE CREW THERE DOES AN AWESOME JOB AND KNOW HOW TO BUILD A PARK. SEVEN SPRINGS IS SUPPOSE TO OPEN ON FRIDAY WITH SANTAS BEARD HAVING A PARK SET UP AND THE ROME PREJIB IS SUPPOSE TO GO DOWN ON SATURDAY NIGHT, CHECK THE SPRINGS LINK TO THE LEFT FOR MORE INFO. THIS SPOT IS LOCATED SOUTH OF PITTSBURGH NEAR UPPER ST. CLAIR ON MCMURRAY ROAD, IT'S A PARK ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD HEADING SOUTH ON MCMURRAY ROAD. THIS SET IS A 27 DOWN BAR, THE LANDING IS LONG AND FLAT, ON THE RIDE IN THERE IS A CURB THAT WOULD NEED TO BE RAMPED UP WITH SNOW. ALL WE NEED IS SNOW AND IT'S ON. HAPPY SHREDDIN!

SUMMER IS OVER
It's getting cold at night, the shred mags have started to arrive, all the new gear is out and edits are being finished for last season. There are still two edits to come from Kidsnhammers for the 2011 season. I hurt my shoulder and have not been able to skate for 6 weeks, should of been a great time to catch up on editing but I killed a computer, switched to a iMac and that has been quite a process, ate up all the data on my internets and ended up with an outrageous bill for last month. So I haven't been able to do anything related to boarding. Also getting hurt sucks, you gotta respect what your doing, respect your body and never take it for granted. Labor day weekend is past, and it was the greatest weekend of my life, with labor gone that means fall is on it's way and there is only 75 days left until lifts start running on the ice coast. Being a native to Ohio I have added some more links to companies that are from Ohio, maybe you already know, but if not check it out. Happy Shreddin!
